Women's Hiking Clothing

Women's hiking textiles must be carefully selected. It is important to choose comfortable textiles, lightweight while maintaining optimal performance to face the various weather conditions that can be encountered in the mountains.

Different textiles must meet important criteria for various outdoor activities. In the mountains, humidity is, for example, quite present in the air, so textiles must be waterproof to keep the body dry from various snowstorms, rains, or for gloomier days. It will also be important that these textiles maintain a certain breathability for long-duration efforts to avoid having to remove or add layers, which could disrupt your various activities. They can also be windproof to protect against the different gusts you may encounter in the mountains. And finally, most importantly, for days when temperatures drop, it is crucial that the heat generated by the body's own warmth does not escape. For this, various technologies have been developed to increase this heat retention and keep it for greater comfort.
